Cleaning Hack for Removing Sharpie

Cleaning Sharpie

Alright so if you have small children, I am sure at some point they have wrote on your wall with a sharpie, pen, marker of whatever else they can get their little paws on. In our first apartment Briden did just that he grab a sharpie and colored on the ugly wood closet doors; I cried. I learned that day the best cleaning tip of all time.

This will literally clean anything off your walls or wood/tile floors.

What you will need

Cleaning Sharpie

*1/4 Cup Baking Soda

*1 Teaspoon Dish Soap

*2 Tablespoon Water

*Sponge or toothbrush

Mix it all together

It will be a paste like consistency

So to show you all how well this works I took a black permanent marker and drew on my freshly painted walls. This is how much I love this stuff!

Apply the paste over entire drawing

Take sponge and scrub in circular motions – you don’t have to push super hard

Watch the Sharpie disappear

Wipe away left over cleaner

Wipe down with wet sponge to get rid of white residue

No one will ever know your little shit drew on your walls.

For really textured walls use a toothbrush to get in all the little spaces
