DIY Pallet Picture

DIY Project

This is a project I did as a gift for a family member. (I have blurred out their face to be courteous of their privacy.) There are a few people every year on my list that I struggle finding the perfect gift for, so what better gift then to remind them of their love. I will be making one of these to put up in my home as well. I love the way this Pallet Photo gift turned out!

Creating your pallet

Pallet Photo

*I started by outlining my picture with pencil so I knew where to apply my Mod Podge.

*Apply a thick coat of Mod Podge and place picture on top

*Make sure to get all the air bubbles out of picture

*Apply a thin coat of Mod Podge Paper Gloss and let dry for a couple hours

*Take rope and rose flower ribbon and paint desired color

*I used my finger to paint the flowers since I did not want as much color on those

*Let dry and cut into pieces for your letters

*Lay out your design on the pallet

*Apply E6000 glue and firmly attach to pallet

*Measure Burlap to fit across pallet and cut to fit

*I hand painted the Established – I would recommend using stencils

*Glue Burlap onto desired spot

* Cut Wire and bend

*Glue wire to pallet – I had to place a heavy object onto of it to help in stay in place while drying

And your done!

This is a unique way to hang a picture and you can change this up a million ways to fit your style and home décor. It really is a great gift for the hard to shop for person in your life.

I hope you enjoyed this DIY project! Let me see your finished product!
